Adopt-A-Dairy-Cow

Ongoing

Adopt-A-Dairy-CowWe are excited to announce that the first $10,000 raised through this campaign will be matched by our generous sponsors!

Milk is a protein-rich product that is rarely donated to Second Harvest. For every six households we can provide milk to, there is a seventh we can't.

You can help! This June, to celebrate June Dairy Month, you can get involved by making a donation to "adopt" a cow's milk production for one day for only $36!  If you are interested in learning more about sponsorship opportunities, please email Lisa Gundlach, or call 608.216.7212.

Beyond feeling good about helping those facing hunger this summer, each adopter will receive an adoption certificate that features the "sassy" bovine beauty of their choice as well as be invited to an Ice Cream Social with us at Sassy Cow Creamery to meet your cow on July 14th!  For up to date information on the event, be sure to follow us on Facebook!

What are you waiting for? With your help we can turn June Dairy Month into June Dairy Summer! Adopt-A-Dairy-Cow now!

We are proud to announce that the Adopt A Dairy Cow program was awarded the 2017 Innovator of the Year Award through Feeding America!
